This guide explains how to access your student email, Canvas classes, Microsoft Office, campus computers, and online tools for your education.

Quick Tips: How to Log In at Green River College

IMPORTANT: Use your GRC Email Address (username) and Password to access your email, the computer network, Canvas, and Campus WiFi.

Logging in to Your Student Email

If you already have a GRC student email account (formatted: last name.first name@student.greenriver.edu), use quick links or Microsoft Outlook to access your Student Email.

*If you are a new student and logging in for the first time, your temporary password will be your ctcLink number followed by your 6-digit birthdate. You will then be prompted to create a new password.

Need to Look up your Email address?

If you need to look up your GRC email account that ends with @student.greenriver.edu:

  • Use the Email Lookup option to look up your new email address using your last name, birth date, and ctcLink ID or SID.

Don't remember your password?

Use the Password Reset option to reset an existing password

Important Tips:
  • You need to be registered for a class to find your new email address. Please wait until the afternoon one business day after you register for classes to try to create a password.
  • If you are a returning GRC student and are having trouble logging in to your new email account, try clearing your browser's cache.
  • Do not auto-forward your student email to another email. Unfortunately, that feature does not work and you will lose important GRC emails.
