For Students: Accessing the KCLS Library System

As a student at Green River College, you automatically have access to online library resources at King County Library System. 

Use the link below to find relevant supplemental resources on your topic!

• Username to Log in: use GRC (all capital letters) + your student username. (The part before the @ in your GRC email address. Must be in lowercase letters)
  • Example: GRCsmith.jane.23
  • Wrong: GRCSmith.Jane.23. (must use lowercase for the username.)
• PIN number: your pin is the last four characters of your log in. Example: e.23

Your log in will give you access to King County Library System's Online Library resources

Student accounts provide full access to:  

• eBooks and downloadable materials
• Databases for research and homework help  

Student accounts do not allow students to:  

• Check out physical materials from libraries  
• Request materials from the library catalog
• Use public computers inside the library
• Print from library printers

These accounts don’t have a physical card. 

Your GRC/KCLS log-in is not the same as a KCLS library card

If you want to check out physical items, place holds, reserve a computer for use at a branch library, or print at a KCLS branch, you will want to use your KCLS card and PIN. Find out how to sign up for a KCLS library card below:

As a faculty/staff member at Green River College, you have the option to access online library items at King County Library System for supplementary resources. 

Faculty / Staff:

• Faculty /Staff need to opt in to participate. (You can access the form to "opt-in" on GatorNet):
