GatorWireless

Internet Access for GRC Students and Employees

Students: In order to connect to GatorWireless, the secure, encrypted wifi, you will need to have first set up your Green River Network Password (this is your student email password). If you are a new student, you can set this password using the password manager linked below the instructions.

​Instructions

  1. On the device you are trying to connect, open up your Wi-Fi connections menu and select the network named "GatorWireless."​
  2. Enter your username and password. Your username will be your complete GRC student or employee email address and the correlating password.
    • Student email example: Doe.Jane@student.greenriver.edu
    • Employee email example: JDoe@greenriver.edu OR jane.doe@greenriver.edu (if that is the formula you were assigned)
  3. Follow the prompts on your device to accept or trust the Wi-Fi certificate
  4. Success! You are now connected to GatorWireless.

 

If the above method does not work for your device:

1. Instead, open up your Wi-Fi connections menu and select the network named "GRCWifi"

2. Follow the prompts to connect.  You will be connected to an unencrypted network GRCWifi network.  You can continue to use this if desired or go to #3 below to connect to GatorWireless

3. Go gatorwirless.greenriver.edu and follow the prompts to connect and download any applications.

GRCWIFI

Internet Access for Guests

Please follow the instructions below to connect to Wi-Fi if you are visiting Green River College. If you are a current student or employee, please refer to the instructions in the Students and Employees tab.

​Instructions

  1. On your device, open up your Wi-Fi connections menu and connect to the network named "GRCWIFI."
  2. Once you have connected to GRCWIFI, a browser should automatically open the GRC Web Portal. Click "Continue."
    • If the web portal does not open automatically -- Open a browser manually and go to http://neverssl.com 
  3. Select Guests from the options listed.
  4. Accept the "Green River College Acceptable Computer Use Policy"
  5. Select an option from the menu that matches your circumstance.
  6. Follow the prompts to receive a verification code and/or provide an existing verification code.
  7. Registration complete! Your device is now fully connected to GRCWIFI and you are ready to browse the Internet. Guests are registered for 12 hours of GRCWIFI access.

Wifi Available in Trades Parking Lot

When you are not in a campus building, wifi is available in the parking lot of the Trades complex area on the main campus

  • This Wifi is available to GRC faculty, staff, and students.
  • It is also available to guests with a one-day pass.
