KCLS / GRC Accounts

KCLS / GRC Student Log In

All GRC students are automatically assigned a special account with the local public library KCLS (King County Library System) that gives you access to their online resources which include databases, streaming videos and eBooks.

Assigned Login :

  • KCLS USERNAME LOGIN = GRC + your student username

    • GRC must be capitalized
    • username is the part before the @ in your GRC email address (example: smith.jane.23 derived from smith.jane.23@student.greenriver.edu)
    • username must be in lower-case letters.
      • Example KCLS login = GRCsmith.jane.23

  • PIN NUMBER = the last four characters of your student username

    • if the last four characters include a period, include that as one of the characters
    • if your student username is shorter than four characters, just use the entire username
      • Example pin number = e.23 (derived from GRCsmith.jane.23)

  2. Then, click on the KCLS resource you want and enter your Assigned Login above when prompted

KCLS / GRC Faculty Log In

Faculty and Staff have the option to "opt in" to obtain an account with the local public library KCLS (King County Library System) that gives you access to their online resources which include databases, streaming videos, and eBooks.

Faculty / Staff need to opt in to participate. (You can access the form to "opt-in" on GatorNet):

  2. Then, click on the KCLS resource you want and enter your Assigned Login above when prompted

KCLS "All Access" Library Cards

Your GRC / KCLS log in will give you access to King County Library System online resources that are linked to through the "KCLS for College Students" portal. This includes databases, streaming video, and eBooks.

However, your GRC/KCLS log-in is not the same as a KCLS "All Access" library card-- if you want to check out physical items from the shelves, place holds, reserve a computer for use at a branch library, or print at a KCLS branch, you must have an "All Access" KCLS library card/account and PIN:
