How to Scan & Photocopy

Copiers/Scanners Machines in the IC Commons, TC Open Lab, and KC272 are available for Student ID card-based sign in (see image of the machine at the bottom of this page)

If you want to print from these machines, first sign in to a campus computer, select your file and click print (you can also send your print job via wireless printing)

For initial setup (for the first time you use any copier on campus):

  • Scan the barcode on the back of your ID badge with the attached barcode reader until you hear a beep
  • Enter in Username (GRC email address) and Email Password in the required fields. Tap ‘Log in’. Tap OK.

For subsequent logins:

  • Scan ID badge to log into the copier
  • The button options are
    • Print All - releases all the print jobs you have sent
    • Print Release – releases selected print jobs. If desired, this option also allows you to
      • change the number of copies
      • change the font color (black and white or color)
      • change from one-sided to two-sided or vice-versa
      • delete print jobs
    • Access Device – opens the copier mode
      • open lid of copier and place your document on the screen to make a photocopy
    • Scan - enters scanning mode
      • allows you to scan and send that scan to your email or OneDrive
  • To log off of device, use the Door/exit icon in the upper right of any screen, or press the ID button on the keypad.
