Virtual Labs
What It Is
Some lab classes will hold lab activities during a set time or day and require students to meet virtually on a platform like zoom.
What To Expect
- You will probably work with a partner or a group in a breakout room on zoom
- The lab data may be individualized or the whole group may have a set
- You may be expected to make measurements or observations of things in your home
- You may be expected to make measurements or observations by watching a video, looking at pictures, or running a simulation on a site to which you log in
- You may be expected to use a lab kit you picked up from the college or were sent by mail to make measurements or observations.
