Spring Drop-In Hours (2024)

Pop-Up Sessions

eLearning will be on campus for many Thursdays throughout Spring quarter, so please come by and say hi, ask questions, and chat with us.  We'll be in the faculty spaces visiting on the following days from 11am-1pm:

This form is for departments, programs, or individual faculty at Green River College that would like to request a pedagogical or technological workshop. All workshops will present evidence-based practices and are grounded in the science of teaching and learning.

    • Come learn how ChatGPT and other AI tools can help you develop lesson plans and activities! Designed for beginners & intermediate users of generative AI.

    • Join this session to learn about the possibilities of using OneNote – for yourself, for your students, and to stay organized!

  • May 8th (2-2:50pm): AI and Your Syllabus

    • Bring your syllabus to this session and we'll discuss how you may want to craft a statement to set AI-usage expectations in your classroom!

  • May 14th (9-10am): Canva for Canvas

    • Come create your FREE Canva Educators account and explore all the ways you can integrate  engaging graphics into your Canvas course.

  • May 16th (12-12:50pm): Digital Documents

    • Come learn some tips and tricks for editing your Panopto videos with ease!

  • June 5th (2-3pm): AI and Your Class - Help Determine Your Rules for AI

    • We'll explore different tools (non-AI tools!) to help you determine what and how AI is permissible in your classroom, and use those tools to help you craft a syllabus statement.
