What is an ePortfolio?

What is an ePortfolio in Canvas?

ePortfolios are a place in your personal Canvas account where you can display and discuss significant projects and experiences that happen during your learning process.  You can use your ePortfolio to:

  • display the projects/assignments from multiple courses that you are proud of
  • share reflections about the thoughts and work that went into your projects
  • gather an overview of your projects, share them with friends, colleagues, other instructors, future employers...etc.

You have the option to

  • make ePortfolios public for everyone to see or keep the ePortfolio private.  You can change this setting back and forth anytime
  • access your ePortfolio even after you leave Green River College. You can also export ePortfolios to a .zip file to save content
