Holman Library has an extensive collection of print and ebooks that support student research.

Enter keywords in the search box below to start your search for relevant, current and informative books and book chapters on your topic! Tips:

• Keep your search terms simple (ex: Starbucks)
• Put words that mean something as a phrase in quotes. (ex: "alternative energy")
• Connect key ideas with AND. (ex: Starbucks AND "environmental impact")

Refine your preliminary search with additional keywords, date limiters, etc. 

• To see what a book is about, click on the title for a description, table of contents, and Subject Terms!
• Pro tip: Select relevant Subject Terms to see other resources on that subject.
• Pro tip: Try a range of search terms to find a range of resources.

Books may offer:

• In-depth discussion and analysis of a subject
• Historical background on a topic
• A range of points of view on a subject

Books will also help you:

• Focus your topic
• Find leads to more information on your topic

Note: You may choose to read and cite most of a book or just specific, relevant chapters of a book.
