Use Google Advanced Search for power searching on the general web

• Note your ability to limit to one particular domain (.gov, .edu, .org):

This general Google search will find web resources without any special limits.

This usually isn't the best way to find academic resources UNLESS you are looking for a very specific site - example: "Pew Research Center" to find the Pew survey reports.
