HL One Search is a discovery tool that allows you to search everything within our library's collections, whether it is a physical item or something in our online databases. Some things you'll find with HL One Search include:

Sign in to your library account to renew your checked out library items and see your loans, fines, saved items...etc.):
1. Go to the Holman Library home page and click on Advanced Search under the large Holman Library One Search box:

2. Click on Sign In near the top right corner of your screen:

3. Select Login using Current Students, Staff, and Faculty and log in with your GRC email address and password:

4. You should now see your name near the top right corner of your screen. Click the drop-down menu next to your name and select My Library Account:

1. Locate your item through the Holman Library One Search:
2. Click on the item you wish to request:

3. If you are not logged into your library account, you should see a yellow box that says “Sign in to see loan & request options and to access your library account". Click “Sign in” and sign in with your GRC student email address and password:

4. After you log in, the yellow box should be replaced by a link to “Place a request to pick up this item”:

5. The request screen will then ask for a date after which the item is no longer needed. You will also have the option to have the item sent to Kent, Enumclaw or Auburn Center rather than the main Auburn Campus. Click “Send Request”:

You should then see a green confirmation box letting you know where you can pick up the item:

6. You can cancel the request by clicking on your name at the top right corner of your screen and selecting “My Requests” and then clicking “cancel”:

Bring items in person to the Circulation Desk on the library first floor
Option 2:
Renew through your Library Account.
(Note that technology equipment such as laptops, wifi hotspots, headsets, cameras..etc. cannot be renewed online through your library accounts. Instead contact the Circulation Services for options.)
Overdue items may be renewed, but overdue fines will be charged.
Lost items (40 days past due) may not be renewed.
You can usually renew items. Renewals, if approved, generally extend the borrowing period about two more weeks. Contact the Holman Library Circulation Desk to request a renewal at least two days prior to your due date.
The lending library may refuse a request for renewal. You will be informed of the lending library's decision. If the request has been denied, the material is due back on the original due date.

3. Follow sign-in instructions on that screen
4. Click your name in upper right-hand corner
5. Click: Saved Items
6. Under "Saved Titles", click the checkbox at the top to select all saved titles
7. To the right of "My Favorites" click the ellipses (three dots)
8. Choose "Export to Excel" or "Email" depending on your preference
9. Under "Saved Searches" and "Search History" click on each saved search to perform the search
10. After you perform each individual search, click in the website address bar and copy the URL (the web address in the bar)
11. Paste that URL (web address) in a document and save that document. Alternately paste that URL in an email to yourself.
