You can use a reference database to scan for ideas, a focus, and keywords - as well as to get informed!
In the images below I do the following steps:
Step 1: I do a keyword search of climate change AND micronesia OR guam OR oceania. (note that you don't need to capitalize)
Step 2: I scan the encyclopedia titles and the article titles for ways to focus my research and for language and concepts I can learn from and use in my research.
Step 3: I can use an introductory reference article to get informed AND to find keywords I can use in my research. Notice all the highlighted words in the third image below.
