this is a screenshot of a part of an academic journal article that shows the authors names and notes about where they work, that is, what organization or company or university they are affiliated with. This provides more information about the expertise of the authors

  • Typically, the names of the academic or research institutions the authors are affiliated with will be stated on the first page of the journal article, either near the authors' names, or lower on the page.
  • This helps you establish the expertise of the authors and the authority of the information in the article.
