Once you find an item, you can request that it be sent to Green River free-of-charge to you by making an Interlibrary Loan request.

Using LinkedIn Learning

1. Go to Green River's LinkedIn Learning portal and either--

• Sign up for a password (if it is your first time accessing GRC's LinkedIn Learning videos)
• Log in using your Green River email address and the password you set up (if you are a returning user)
  • ​Forgot your password?  Follow the instructions on the portal page to reset it.

2. You can browse video topics by choosing the drop-down LIBRARY menu item to the left of the search box (# 1), or search for specific software or topics using the search bar (# 2).

• There are several technology sections in the browsable menu, including "Developer" and "I.T."

3. Once you reach a topic section, LinkedIn Learning will display each video or video section, as well as related topics to the side:

• You can see the length of each video course, as well as the skill level it is aimed at, below the video description.

4. Once you click on a video, you have options to save the video to a personal playlist, skip to different sections, and a text transcript is usually available:

• Adding a video to a personal playlist is a good way to save information for later. You can add the specific section you need instead of the entire video course.

Video page:

1. Search within a course for specific software or topics. The "Notebook" is available for online note taking.

2. You can jump directly to any section of the course, and most sections are only a few minutes long.

3. The "Transcript" is useful for pulling out quotes or other information for papers or reports.

4. The tags show the major software titles and topics covered by the video tutorial.

5. The "Skill Level" and "Duration" can give you some quick clues about how much detail you can expect from the video.

You can search for reference articles online in Gale Virtual Reference Library/ Gale ebooks.

You will need to use your GRC ID number to login to these two reference ebook collections.
