Welcome to the Holman Library Digital Media Lab

In this space you can create and edit projects that incorporate photos, video, audio and other digital media, for both print and web-based applications. This space was designed to help you create, collaborate, edit and share digital media projects.

There are digital cameras, camcorders, tripods and laptops available for you to check out at the library's circulation desk.

Explore this guide to find descriptions of equipment and software that are available to you in the Digital Media Lab as well as tutorials to help you use these resources to create your projects.

What Equipment Can I Checkout at the Library?

Please Note: You will need to be a current Green River student, staff, or faculty member to checkout equipment items.

The Digital Media Lab is located in HL112.

  • The space is available anytime the library is open.
  • Reserve a time at the Circulation Desk, 253-931-6490, circdesk@greenriver.edu, or by stopping by

Room Reservations

Students working on media projects may reserve the media recording and editing room ahead of time or see if it is available on a drop-in basis.

To reserve the room, please contact either the library circulation desk (x2090) or the reference desk (253) 931-6480.

When you arrive, please check-in at the circulation desk.

You are responsible for all equipment in the media lab when you "check out" the room.
