Books & eBooks

Books are a good source for connecting your topic to the "larger picture" by bringing in history or the social context (why your topic is important, etc.). You don't have to read the entire book to have it as a source-- you can use a smaller part of it if you like.

Limiting to Books

• To search only for books and book chapters, limit to books and book chaptersat Source Type OR select Advanced Search and limit to books only.
• A basic search returns a range of information types. Note the book, reference entry and article on social media in the image below.
