Get an introduction to the conversation on literary movements, key themes, stylistic choices, critical reception, and historical contexts with Topic and Work Overviews, Biographies, News, Reviews, and Interviews.  

Step 1: Type in any or a mix of the following. Experiment!

  • Author: ex "Lopez, Josefina" or "Josefina Lopez"
  • Title: ex: "Real Women have Curves"
  • Keyword: ex: "identity"
  • Genre or Concept: ex: "Latin American literature"

Step 2: Search and Select by Source Type from Reviews, News, Interviews, Topic & Work Overviews, and Biographies.
