How to borrow titles from other libraries: As a Green River College staff, faculty, or currently enrolled student, you have the ability to request items from other libraries in Washington State, across the United States, and worldwide --for FREE-- using Holman Library's Interlibrary Loan service.
Important tips to know about Interlibrary loan:
- You will need your GRC ctcLink ID number to request items.
- Use the information on the linked "WorldCat" (global shared catalog) page to fill out the information about the book. If you don't know an answer to one of the form fields, it's OK to leave it blank.
- Books will be mailed through the US mail to Holman Library, and you can pick them up and return them to our library.
- The library that is lending the book to Holman Library sets the date the book is due (and how much it costs if not returned) -- so it is important to return items on time, or contact Holman Library Circulation Desk as early as possible if you wish to request a loan extension.
- Interlibrary loan is unavailable when the library is closed during break periods.
