Wrongful Convictions & Innocence Projects

A little information about the Innocence Project:

The Innocence Project is a national organization founded in 1992 by Barry Scheck and Peter Neufeld, two attorneys who had significant experience in civil rights litigation. Through both litigation and public policy, the Innocence Project aims to exonerate innocent individuals who have been wrongfully convicted yet remain incarcerated. An additional goal of the organization is to reform the criminal justice system in ways that will prevent future injustice.
